I’m so glad you’re here! Life has always been busy and challenging, trying to balance work with fitness, health, wellbeing, and other hobbies and responsibilities, but since becoming a mother, that challenge has increased tenfold. This blog is a place for working moms to connect, share tips and ideas, and support each other through the challenges that are unique to being a mom.
It is also a place to be honest about the crazy, exhausting, thrilling, terrifying, rewarding and heartbreaking experience that it is to be a mother. Sometimes we’ll deal with hard topics and the things people are scared to say out loud. Motherhood is a unique experience, so as you engage with others in this community, please be respectful of the unique experience each of them has gone through.
For a long time, I felt like I was crazy for not having the motherhood experience that everyone said I should, and it wasn’t until hearing from others who went through something similar that I realized what I was experiencing was normal, and it was ok. This experience inspired me to start this blog, to have a place where we can be honest with each other and support each other as a community of moms.
About Me
Hi, I’m Katherine! I work full-time and am a full-time mom to a toddler and two rescue dogs. I have a million and one hobbies and am constantly seeking balance between all these interests, work, and family. I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and even though life is busy and crazy, I’m working to live the healthiest, most fulfilling life I can and to help my family do the same. I look forward to connecting with you through this blog and sharing tips, experiences, and opportunities to build a community of moms with a focus on fitness, nutrition, and wellbeing.
